Functional Portraits
Students were given a task to create a self portrait of themselves using only functions graphed on Geogebra or Desmos. They do this by choosing which parent function gives them the correct general shape and then performing transformations on this function to manipulate it into the precise shape and location they need and then restricting the function’s domain.
The requirements for each portrait is that they must use at least 100 functions and the portrait must look like them.
